Southern Region Compliance Group
The Southern Region Compliance Group developed out of two of the EMC Clubs, based in the Thames Valley & the South of England, set up by the Government to assist those involved in the EMC business to meet the requirements of the orginal EMC Directive.
As the individual membership declined the two groups merged and became the SCA, run by my predecessor, who opened up its remit to include orther regulatory requirements of the electronics industry.
I took the group over in 2006 and following the takeover the group was re-named SRCG, and continues to develope with representation on the Electronic Regulatory Group run by the Department of Business Information & Skills (BEIS) which gives us a link back to government.
